Capsicum Gravy🥘

 


Capsicum Gravy is a simple ,easy and rich gravy based used by cashewnuts. The recipe has to be tasty and more importantly without any fancy ingredients and only with in house ingredients. one such rich and creamy gravy based curry recipe is capsicum masala recipe with onion & tomato base.If you want additional add to potato,peas, cauliflower etc.,

Capsicum Gravy

Preparation time-10 min

Cooking time-20 min

Serves- 3to 4 person

Course- North India

Cuisine- curry

Ingredients

Capsicum - 1(cubed)

Onion- 1(chopped)

Finely chopped ginger,garlic-1tsp

Chilly powder-1tsp

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Garam masala-1 tsp

Oil-50ml

Aniseeds-1/2tsp

Curry leaves - 1spring

Coriander leaves -to garnish


To paste the ingredients

Onion-1(cubed)

Tomato-2

Ginger,garlic-1tsp

Gloves-2 cinnamon-1

star anise-1,ani seeds-1tsp

Cashewnuts-10pieces

 


Preparation:

Cut the capsicum,onion,ginger,garlic

Paste the ingredients


Method:

Take a kadai,put oil,aniseeds,curry 
leaves,and chopped onion



Add to salt its cooks in shortly.Add ginger and garlic.  Put simmer in stove, because the well cook till they turn lightly golden brown colour.


Add the masalas(chilly powder, turmeric powder,garam masala) mix well in slow flame.high flame means sometimes burn the masalas


   Add the paste and  add 3/4 cup of water


Mix well and add the capsicum ,stir and cook.



Mix well and close a lid  for 5 minutes with simmer.

Until cook the oil will seperate the gravy


Cook until become a thick gravy for 1 minute.

Then garnish the coriander leaves.

Let transfer the bowl .

Serve hot with chapathi,poori ,rotti,naan and pulao...😋
