Cornflour halwa 🌽/Bombay Karachi halwa

Cornflour halwa/ Bombay Karachi halwa

Prep time- 10 Min

Cooking time- 30 Min

Resting time - 20 Min

Ingredients

Cornflour - 1 cup

Sugar-1.5 cup

Water -3 cup

Ghee- 6 tsp

Food colour-1pinch

Lemon juice -1tsp

Cashew nuts-2tsp



Method

First take 1 cup corn flour (100 grams) in a mixing bowl.

Add  2  cup of water

Mix very well with a wired whisk. There should be no lumps. Keep aside

 In a heavy kadai put sugar and add the little water




Add the food colour and lemon juice

Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.

Now the sugar water to  a boil.no need to attained the string consistency.

Then add the cornflour starch and mix well.


Add little by little ghee.the strach will thicken consistency.



Stir well until the mixture turn glossy.after 20 minutes will turn super glossy.

Now add the 1tsp ghee and cutted Cashew nuts. 

Transfer the ghee applied tray.keep it cool in 20minutes .then cut into pieces and serve it..πŸ˜‹
